Das «Queer Coding Lab» ist ein selbstorganisiertes Wochenende für queere Programmierer*innen, die Ideen austauschen, gemeinsam an Projekten arbeiten, Programmier-relevante Themen diskutieren und «socializen» möchten.
Es gibt kein festes Programm. Es wird ad-hoc von den Teilnehmenden kreiert. Du kannst eigene Projekte, Ideen, Bücher, Bastelwerkzeuge, Spiele oder alles Andere, das du mit anderen teilen möchten, mitbringen.
Das Lab findet im Residenzhaus Cima Citta im Tessin statt, am selben Ort wie das Queer Coding Camp. Es hat Platz für 12 Personen in 6 einfachen Doppelzimmern. Das Labs startet am Freitagabend. Abreise ist spätestens am Montag Nachmittag.
Der Richtpreis beträgt CHF 30 pro Übernachtung für Personen in Ausbildung oder mit geringerem Einkommen und CHF 50 für Normalverdiener. Die Gebühr umfasst Unterkunft und Verpflegung, die wir gemeinsam in der Küche von Cima Citta zubereiten. Wenn die Kosten ein Hindernis für deine Teilnahme sind, melde das bei der Anmeldung und wir finden eine Lösung.

«Queer Coding Lab» is a weekend-long self-organised meetup for queer coders who want to exchange ideas, work together on projects, discuss programming and programming adjacent subjects, and socialise.
The lab doesn’t have a fixed program. It will be created on the fly by its participants. You can bring your own projects, ideas, books and articles you want to discuss, tinkering tools, games, or anything that you’d like to share with others.
It will take place at the residency house Cima Citta in Ticino Switzerland. The same location that houses the annual Queer Coding Camp for young aspiring coders. The house sleeps 12 people in 6 simple double-rooms. The Lab starts Friday evening and will last until Monday afternoon.
The participation fee is CHF 30 per night for people in education or with lower income and CHF 50 for normal earners. The fee includes accommodation and meals, which we will prepare together in the kitchen of Cima Citta. If the cost is an obstacle to you, let us know when you register and we will find a solution.
